N.Zealand bat on .. The ball is 60 odd overs old, and being older, is giving the batters a little more time to play.
An improvement from the 1st dig ..and Brownlie gets a fighting maiden test hundred .. NZ 219-4, 69 overs left in the day, 83 behind.
A new ball due in about 7 overs .. Which may help SA .. If NZ get another 250,we might yet have a twist.
Have done my absolutes on run spreads.
Listening to Radio Commentary on Radio 2000, is a contrast between the best and worst of commentators. Brian Waddle, is my favourite commentator, while the majority of S.Africans are not. I understand everyone needs to start somewhere, and they are paid poorly, but, they irritate me so much, I cannot listen to it.
New all taken, 7 mins before lunch. Morne will be hoping for some luck.
Wkt - Brownlie gives it away really, caught on point boundary ..109
229-5
After lunch, and SA trying to wrap the game up, but, pitch playing pretty well.
NZ 247-5 .. 55 behind. 53 overs left today.
More poor fielding from SA, as Petersen drops another one .. It, Smithy rarely drops anything, and holds on to one from Watling, bowled Philander.
NZ 252-6 50 behind.
NZ 252-7
NZ 265-8 .. 43 overs left .. Not long now ..
All over.. 275 all out, just before Tea ..
S.Africa win by a distance, which was always on the cards, following Day 1.
A good effort, by the best team in the World .. NZ have some work to do.
