So, SA win the series, 2-1 .. Not sure it was that convincing, but, they are trying new players etc, and a few will hope they have chances of a permanent place. Levi looks in trouble .. Not sure where he goes from here .. Probably needs some time with a county side, and allow his talent to mature.



The test series awaits, and it's hard to look past the revamped SA side, which looks the best in the world. I fear some of the games could be over very early .. We shall see .. All roads lead to Cape Town, for the Jan 2 fixture.

T20 - S.Africa v N.Zealand - Durban

The first game of the series,which includes 3 T20,s, 2 tests, and 3 ODI's.

N.Zealand have suffered some injuries to key players, and the likes of Taylor, Dettori, Southee, Ryder are missing.

There is a lot of discord in the NZ camp, following Taylor's removal as captain, replaced by Mcullum.

They got drilled by S.Africa, when they played in N.Zealand, back in March, and it's hard to believe even an experimental squad for S.A., will not be far too good - especially on the tests.

Anyway .. Of the 8 T20's played, S.A have won 6.

S.A squad is missing its top 10 run scorers, but Levi at 11, plays.

Weather in Durbs has been v wet over the last 2 mths, but yesterday was clear, and no probs are expected for today.





S.africa have a new batting line-up, with the likes of De Kock, Du Plessis, Levi, Berhardien, Miller , David's ... The bowling looks weaker, but N Z only have Guptil and Mcslogger, so, SA look too strong.
